The estimated cost to install solar at your house is $11,383. We calculated this because we think your electricity usage for the year is about 9200 kWh, and a 4.67 kW size solar system on your roof would replace 90% of your usage. We are using an estimated cost of $6.71/W, which we get from Tracking The Sun.

Current electricity costs

The current electricity costs for Salt River Project are 15¢/kWh. So, by replacing 90% of your usage, you’ll save $1,256 throughout the year. If the costs of electricity stay the same, then your savings will pay for your solar system in 9.02 years. If the costs of Salt River Project electricity rise 3%, then your savings will pay for your solar system in 8.76 years.
