What happens after I submit my order?

Once you have submitted your order, you should receive an email confirmation from WattBuy. This email states that we have received your order and have submitted your request to the supplier.

Within 1-2 business days, you should receive another email from the electricity provider. If you do NOT, please contact WattBuy at

Once you have received confirmation from your electricity provider, your previous service will be canceled on your behalf so no need to contact your current electricity provider.

When does my service start?

First and foremost, it is important to know you will not lose power during the transition to your new electricity plan. Your new plan will begin within 1-2 billing cycles.

How do I pay my bill?

Your bill paying process won't change. Continue to pay it the same way you've been doing it.

FYI: Depending on where you live, you will receive either one or two bills. If the cost of the electricity and the delivery of it are combined, you'll receive one bill. If they are charged separately, you'll receive two bills.

Need to cancel your order?

You can cancel your order within three business days from the time you receive your Terms of Service agreement via email or mail.

WattBuy can NOT cancel your order. To cancel, contact your electricity provider. You can locate your provider on your WattBuy confirmation email under “Plan Supplier”.

Who do I contact if my electricity has been disconnected or there is an outage or an emergency?

If your power has been turned off, WattBuy can NOT turn it back on. You must contact your local utility.
